Atiya N. Butler

Atiya N. Butler is currently director of external affairs and marketing for NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst. She oversees media relations, marketing, event planning, government affairs, community outreach, and social media initiatives for the hospital, which is located in one of the world’s most ethnically diverse neighborhoods. Atiya has received numerous awards for her commitment to public service from organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the New York City Council, The White House Medical Unit, and the Office of Congress Member Joseph Crowley. She grew up in Queens, New York and still resides there with her family.
