About this Talk
We all live with a certain level of uncertainty, especially during a pandemic. Dr. Shekinah Elmore was accepted to medical school and diagnosed with two different cancers at almost the same time. Despite all odds and in a period of grand uncertainty, she decided to start medical school anyway. Driven by her personal experience with a p53 gene mutation, Shekinah decided to become a radiation oncologist.
