About this talk

We all live with a certain level of uncertainty, especially during a pandemic. Dr. Shekinah Elmore was accepted to medical school and diagnosed with two different cancers at almost the same time. Despite all odds and in a period of grand uncertainty, she decided to start medical school anyway. Driven by her personal experience with a p53 gene mutation, Shekinah decided to become a radiation oncologist.

Shekinah imparts on us that "devastating" diagnoses mean learning to live with uncertainty. Join Dr. Elmore’s very timely talk to learn how having the courage to live with uncertainty can inspire moving forward with a joyful life when faced with tremendous challenges.
